Travel Itinerary

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by a driver-guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will set off from Kampala and drive southwest to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes approximately 7 hours, but you will stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity and lunch. Upon arrival in the park, you will check into your lodge and relax for the evening.

Early morning, you will go for a game drive in the park. The park is home to a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and antelopes. The game drive will take approximately 3 hours, after which you will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. The channel is a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George, and it is home to numerous bird species and hippos.

After breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura Gorge. The gorge is home to a habituated chimpanzee community that you will be able to observe and learn about. The trek takes approximately 2-3 hours, and you will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will take a nature walk in the Maramagambo Forest. The forest is home to a bat cave, and you will also have the opportunity to see primates and other wildlife.

After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and begin your journey back to Kampala. The drive takes approximately 7 hours, with a stop for lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will be dropped off at the airport for your departure flight. Note: This itinerary is flexible and can be customized to suit your preferences.
