Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the oldest and most diverse national parks in Uganda. Established in 1952, the park spans over 1,978 km² of savanna, lakes, wetlands, and forests and is home to more than 95 species of mammals and over 600 species of birds. It is an important conservation area and provides many opportunities for tourists to explore the natural beauty of the area. From game drives to boat cruises, Queen Elizabeth National Park is a must-see destination for any traveler to Uganda.
